ISDN - Miscellaneous
For fax/modem dialin purposes, I use MGETTY. My analog modem
takes care of incoming fax and modem calls. For ISDN (X.75) dialin,
extra mgettys (one per MSN you want to use) need to be started from
/etc/inittab as follows:
# Dialup lines
#d1:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -mt60 38400,19200,9600,2400,1200 ttyS0 vt100
d2:12345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/mgetty ttyS1 -i /etc/issue.mgetty
d3:12345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/mgetty -n1 -D -m '"" ATZ OK AT&E402345671 OK AT&B512 OK' -s 38400 -i /etc/issue.mgetty ttyI0
d4:12345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/mgetty -n1 -D -m '"" ATZ OK AT&E402345672 OK AT&B512 OK' -s 38400 -i /etc/issue.mgetty ttyI1
Note: Replace the numbers after the "AT&E
" by your own
MSNs please. I use a separate 'issue' file (in /etc/issue.mgetty)
that is displayed whenever somebody dials in.
